02 Vendor Inspection
Vendor Inspections are becoming more and more custom within the Energy market
LTBV’s vendor inspections division has personnel in key locations to provide our Clients with auditing and inspection services at vendor locations and on site. Our inspection services include Vendor Quality Surveillance and assurance as well as Source Inspection / Vendor Inspection / Expediting Services.
Vendor Quality Surveillance and Assurance
Prior to the award of the initial purchase order to a vendor it is customary throughout the Oil & Gas industry to conduct a Vendor Quality Surveillance Audit. We provide this service to assure our clients that their purchase orders and specification requirements can and will be complied within a timely and consistent manner by the vendor.
Source Inspection / Vendor Inspection / Expediting Services
When a vendor has met the requirements of the audit and has been awarded a purchase order for materials/equipment by our client, the following procedures are available for all source inspection, vendor inspection and expediting services:

06 Commissioning
The commissioning phase is a crucial part of any project that requires a lot of know-how and resources, of various disciplines, to work in harmony in order to bring the project safely and timely to an end.
LTBV has a long standing experience throughout Europe/Asia with the (re) commissioning of both on- and offshore production facilities as we as LNG plants. We can provide commissioning supervision as well as teams of qualified mechanical, electrical, instrument and telecom technicians with their respective tools.
Additionally our service also includes the arranging of work shop facilities, the arranging of facilities for instrument calibration and testing and the arranging of facilities for testing of electrical equipment.
07 Operations & Maintenance
Before and during the operational phase of any capital asset there are several phases where the integrity and sustainability of an installation is highly dependent on the knowledge and experience of the people at work.

08 Access Solutions and Logistics
Our customers call upon us to carry out work on sites with difficult access. The expertise of our technical department enables us to meet this requirement thanks to the development of the appropriate tools.
This equipment enables our teams to remain highly productive while working in safe conditions. We use several tools to attest our adaptability and ability to implement innovative technical solutions, such as: modified bed truck , motorized scaffolding handling trolley, and beyond the design and development of specific scaffolding solutions for complex structures, we can also use ropes for work in difficult areas.
For LTBV, the development of these techniques allows us to operate at sites with complex access and can, in certain cases, advantageously replace conventional access means (scaffolding):
- LTBV is able to work in Explosive areas thanks to our CompEx specialists.
- We are able to mobilize the appropriate logistics means to serve our customers for services on offshore platforms or FPSO (floating production, storage and unloading systems, used in offshore oil production).
- LTBV is also able to offer barge hire services for companies requiring this type of support.
